The Christmas Candlelight Walk at the Historic Daniel Boone Home is a must-do at Christmastime in Historic Missouri Wine Country. The home and historic village are illuminated by thousands of lantern-lit candles around the grounds. Historic storytellers reminisce of winters past in the historic village and Daniel and Rebecca Boone are inside the home telling tours about their favorite holiday memories. Experience a classic Norman Rockwell Christmas at Augusta's Candlelight Christmas Walk. Take a ride in a horse-drawn carriage around the charming town and shop and dine in the downtown area. Many wineries and businesses are open late to spread the cheer and Santa stops by for photos.

Defiance's annual Christmas Festival gets the entire town ready for the holidays. The festivities kick off with the Dashing through Defiance 5K walk/run followed by a Christmas parade. Afterwards, visitors are welcome to get a photo with Santa and shop at the Christmas market.
